God Rejects King Saul from Being King

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of he Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the Word of the Lord, He hath also rejected Thee from being king. I Samuel 15:22-23

Steps: 4, 5, 12

God worked for Saul and did everything that a God can do to help Saul become the king that God wanted. But Saul continued to rebel against whatever it was that God wanted to say and to do. As a result of his rebellion and stubbornness and his rejection of God, then God also rejected him from the priesthood of the believers. God labeled Saul’s behavior as like that of the Canaanites, those do not obey God are rejected.
