And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him “Where art thou?” Genesis 3:9
Steps 1, 2, 11
This is one of those texts in the Bible that shows that God is looking for us. Most of us have had parents, friends, family members, authority figures that are looking for us to harm us. But even if we haven’t had some negative family experience, the pure guilt of rebelling against what you know is right causes us to fear and hide. God is always looking for us and trying to find a way to help us. It appears to be difficult for guilty mankind to slow down long enough so that God can talk to us, tell us the real issues, and then tell us how He wants to help us. Today is our opportunity to see if God will bless us or harm us.
Prayer for Today: We have turned away from you God but we are dimly aware that you have not turned away from us. We are thankful that you seek to find us no matter how hard we have tried to hide and mask ourselves. Help us to allow you to help us that we can receive your gifts of awareness, love, and growth. We need you for we can not save ourselves.
