Joseph Reveals Himself to His Brothers

Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren. And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard. And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Genesis 45:1-4

Steps: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

Joseph can not take it any more and reveals himself to his brothers. Joseph is weeping in joy but his brothers are totally shocked. They can hardly believe their ears that the brother they hated and tried to kill would end up being their judge and benefactor in Egypt. The brothers are afraid that they will be killed but Joseph loves them and wants to help them.

Prayer for Today: God, Your ways are so shocking to us that they are hard to believe. Help us to believe that what You have done in the past is a testimony of what You can do for us, and what You will do for Your holy plan sake.
